Based on the analysis of survival rates in patients with endocrine tumors of the gastrointestinal tract, the BRCA1expression level was suggested can be used as a prognostic criterion and as a factor determining the advisability of administration of platinum-based drugs. It was found that the more aggressive neuroendocrine tumors had the lower BRCA1expression.
