Summary: | This paper presents a study of rescue, assessment and analysis of works by women in the Santiago newspaper El Mercurio is performed. Vital work, because the texts were in danger of disappearing due to the relentless passage of time. Most of the authors studied are little known in our local literary history shows these with other most important as Luisa Pérez de Zambrana. The hermeneutical textual and content analysis were the specific methods used.
