<p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US">In the article Modular competence approach as the factor of formation of linguistic personality the attention focuses on the fact that the distinguishing feature of the new Federal State Educational Standard is its activity nature which main objective is to develop the student’s personality.</p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US">It requires the new pedagogical researches in the field of methodology of teaching, search of innovative tools, forms and methods of training and education associated with the development and introduction of modern educational technologies into the educational process.</p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US">Perhaps currently in Russia the problem of being expert with free and actually cultural words is more relevant than ever for any member of society due to the new social conditions and needs.</p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US">The linguistic personality is formed through the integration of the linguistic, language, communicative and cultural competences.</p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US">The choice of modular technology is not random as it involves the interrelated and interdependent activities of a teacher and a student; it allows activation of the formation process of the complex of linguistic knowledge and gives the opportunity to acquire practical experience necessary for the elementary school teacher. This approach makes the lesson work motivating and purposeful one and allows to create a linguistic personality.</p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US">The article presents the practical experience of use of the modular competence approach for the formation of a linguistic personality on the lessons of Russian with the methods of teaching in primary school in N.K. Kalugin Pedagogical College of the City of Orenburg.</p>
