Sources belonging to different historical periods show many cases in which a person that has committed certain bad deeds is considered as infame. However, in our study, we will focus mainly in those cases having to do with certain private legal relations in which a person convicted in a sentence is, in addition, declared infame and with this purpose we analyse Roman sources and, to a lesser extent, Visigothic sources.
