The article is dedicated to the chamber-vocal creation by Laurenţiu Gondiu, talented composer from the Republic of Moldova, established in Romania. The chamber-vocal miniature „Un fulg de soare” (A sun flake) written in 2001 is in the centre of the author’s interest. On the basis of a detailed analysis, the author draws the conclusion about the musical language of this miniature that is distinguished by its synthetic character, combining naturally the academic tradition, elements of popular music, the metro-rhythmic specificity of jazz, and, at the same time, preserving the individuality of L.Gondiu’s musical language. From the point of view of the architectural aspect, an individualized form is found that is based on the fusion of classical rondo with the complex tripartite form, whose sections are subject to the variation principle, typical of the chambervocal creation of the composer
