Occurrence of Topea patens and the subtribe Topeinae (Apocynaceae: Asclepiadoideae) in Brazil
The species Topea patens (Apocynaceae) is mentioned for the first time in Brazil, from Mato Grosso de Sul state. This represents the first record in the country of the recently described subtribe Topeinae. The actualized distribution of the subtribe is illustrated on a map.
