Description
Summary:Majority of the extratesticular masses are benign. And majority of these are comprised by lipomas and adenomatoid tumors. Adenomatoid tumor is a rare benign tumor of mesothelial origin. They generally present as accidentally found painless masses in patients who admit for infertility. They do not possess malign transformation so surgical excision of the mass is sufficient for treatment. Decisive diagnosis is reached by pathological examination. Ultrasonography holds significance for the localization and characterization of the mass hence giving clues for the benign or malign nature and for correct patient guidance and dealing with unnecessary anxiety.
