Summary:In the forty years of research socioantropológicas of Chilean Pentecostalism has been addressed under three main theoretical models that can be characterized as apocalyptic theories, culturalist and secularization. These theoretical models have docked to Pentecostalism, both positively and negatively, as a religious group of individual and social transformation. The forty years of research of Pentecostalism has meant a clear decline in research, especially from the second half of the 1990s and stagnated in the 2000s have.
