Upon realising the error, the authors repeated the knockdown experiment described in Figure 4 and were able to show results consistent with those described in the original article. The authors provided a description of the experiment procedure used for the relative colony counts and the raw data from both the original and repeated experiments used to generate the results shown in Figure 4A and Figure 4B.
