The suitability of the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherm was investigated for calcium chloride solutions – ion exchange resin system. The temperature effect on the calcium removal onto resin was also investigated, and various thermodynamic parameters (ΔG, ΔH and ΔS) have been calculated.
