Numerous measures have been described to reduce the numbers of root canal microorganism, including the use of various instrumentation techniques, irrigation regimens, and intracanal medication. In endodontic treatment, there are several medicament used traditionally. They are phenolic, aldehyde, halogen, calcium hydroxide, and antibiotic.
