Artikulu honetan laburbiltzen ditugu Artzibarko bi herritako ezaugarri nagusienak. Ezagurri hauek azken hiztunen mintzotik atera dira eta Koldo Artolak 1980-83 urteetan eginiko grabaketetan oinarritu dira, Arrietan eta Hiriberrin. Honezaz gain, Artzibarko hizkera hurbileko haranetako mintzoekin parekatzen dugu, hego-nafarreraren mugak hobeki zedarritzeko asmoz, ezaugarri bereizleak zein diren ikusiz. This paper presents an overview of the Basque dialect spoken in Arce Valley; this is a variety of «Southern high-navarrese». This article is specially based in the speech of last speakers from Arrieta and Hiriberri, who were interviewed by the dialectologist Koldo Artola, during the 1980-1983 period. We present its most specific characteristics and we compare it with the other near varieties, in an attempt to get to know this variety better and to complete the research carried out by previous researchers.
