Thus, it is really important the analysis of drinkable water for monitoring, which provides the evaluation of the quality and risks of population's health. The objective of this study was to evaluate the potability of water Taim community in the year 2013 to 2014, involving chemical and microbiological physical standards through the method:. The objective of this study was to evaluate the drinkable  water of Taim community in the year 2013 to 2014, involving chemical and microbiological physical chemistry standards through the method:. Standand Methods for the Examination of Water & Wastewater, 21th ed, 2005 from Ministry of Health where the results were compared with parameters (PORT. MS No. 2.914 / 2011). Some physical-chemical patterns varied according to the season. The water hardness ranged from 3.30 to 13.66 mg / L, as well as alkalinity, ranging from 4.46 to 19.55 mg / L. Also, the pH ranged from 5.17 to 5.66 mg / L, outside the established standards for potable water. In addition, it was observed that the samples presented values of Escherichia coli outside the established by the legislation (Ordinance Nº 2914), These analyzes indicated in general that the water of the evaluated wells would be improper for the human consumption.
