Identification of the management object of enterprise’s economic security

The increase in the uncertainty of environment intensifies the existing manifestations of instability as well as the predictive assessments of size of risks in the process of enterprise’s activities. The presence of coherent interactions between internal and external processes makes enterprises form assets, organizational structures, and attract additional personnel; such interactions together implement the functions of enterprise’s protection from the threats of both internal and external origin. The management of economic security is a system concept including a set of functions on ensuring the security of assets as well as the processes and conditions of activities starting with the enterprise’s physical security and its assets and ending with the security of social and psychological environment of activities of enterprise’s employees, explains a variety of approaches to the investigation of economic security issues, and the width of problems on managing it. Such a variety of scientific researches requires the scientific summarizing and systematization of the exicting approaches according to the methodological regulations in the economic science. The article carries out the differentiation of concepts of «economic security system» as the steady aggregate of elements, and «economic security system management» as the process of the purposeful impact on the system and its elements. The author studies more deeply the economic essence of the concept of the object of the economic security system and the object of the economic security management. The principal scientific approaches to the enterprise’s economic security management are theoretically summarized. The methodological fundamentals on the economic security management concerning the accurate definitions of the object and the goal of the management are developed.
