| Summary: | The authors make a point that the legal regulation of the rational use of natural resources is one of the most important directions of the state’s activities to ensure energy security, the role of the energy sector in shaping the economic, political and social course of the country is noted. On the basis of a comparative legal analysis, the authors undertake a search for the most optimal methods, methods and means of state regulation of rational environmental management. It is obvious that without proper theoretical understanding, comparative legal analysis, it is impossible to predict ways to optimize state regulation of the commodity market, ensuring its sustainable development.
