Pseudomonas aeruginosa РА 01(ONU 300) cells were incubated for 24 hours in 48-well plates «Nuclon» in presence of the mesotetra(4-N-methyl-piridyl)porphyrine, meso-tetra(6-N-methyl-quinolinyl) porphyrine and protoporphyrine IX bismuth complexes (Ві(III)-ТPP, Ві(III)-ТQP та Ві(III)-PP IХ). The final concentrations of the substances were 0,4; 40 або 80 μМ. The autoinducers were used in concentrations: 3-оxо-С12- HSL and С4-HSL – 10 μМ, PQS – 50 μМ. Pyocyanin containment was measured by Essar et al. method. Results. It was shown, that porphyrins bismuth complexes decrease pyocyanin biosynthesis by P. aeruginosa in proportion to their concentrations in culture medium. The highest activity was showed by Ві(III)-ТPP, the lowest – Ві(III)-PP IХ. In presence of 0,4 μМ Ві(III)-ТPP pyocyanin concentration in the overnight culture decreases in 1,8 times compare with the control. In presence of 40 μМ Bi(III)-ТPP pigment concentration was lower in 2,3 times, and in presence of 80 μМ – in 3,1 times. 3-оxо-С12-HSL in two times decreases pyocyanin concentration in culture without porphyrines and enhance inhibitory action of bismuth complexes onto pigment biosynthesis. In presence of С4-HSL there were detected the moderate (in 10–20%) increase of pyocyanin content in control, and in mixture with porphyrines. PQS completely restores pyocyanine biosynthesis to the control value in presence of Ві(III)-ТQP and Ві(III)-PP IХ and increases their biosynthesis in 1,3-3 times, in presence Ві(III)-ТPP. In culture without porphyrines pyocyanin content in presence of this autoinducer increase by 20%.  Conclusions. Exogenic signal quinolon (PQS) restores pyocyanin biosynthesis by P. aeruginosa, which is greatly inhibited in presence of the porphyrines bismuth complexes. Acelated homoserin lactones cause multidirectional effects: 3-оxо-С12-HSL enhance porphyrines action, and С4-HSL moderately increases pyocyanin content in presence of these compounds.http://mbt.onu.edu.ua/article/view/48720піоціанінвісмутові комплекси порфіриніваутоіндуктори системи quorum sensing pseudomonas aeruginosa
