Summary:Clinical examination results of 248 patients with temporomandibular joint disorders (mean age – 26.0±7.4 years) are shown. Clinical manifestations of cardiovascular diseases, tonsils condition (in particular, nasopharynx microbial flora), indicators of the acute phase reactions are studied. In a number of patients moderate, diffuse, myocardial metabolic alterations, rhythm disturbances (sinus arrhythmia, tachycardia, bradycardia, extrasystoles, His bundle branch block), mitral valve disease were revealed, which are the signs of connective tissue dysplasia and also severe tonsils hypertrophy, chronic tonsillitis, nasopharyngeal streptococcal and staphylococcal infection.
