Summary: | Under a context of change, the theoretical approach transition to sustainability emerges as a perspective that facilitates understanding the complex actions and changes required in society. There are many ways to achieve change, including discussing corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a positive contribution by organizations as new relationships can be created, even if the focus of this practice is aligned to the strategies of organization. The aim of this theoretical essay is to understand how social responsibility strategy can approach the transition to sustainability. Throughout the discussion, according to the multi-level perspective, it was demonstrated that there is a very large near the practice of the CSR with the transition movement, since the perspective companies have multi stakeholders role. Among other issues highlighted the need for a process of institutionalization of CSR emerges as most important aspect for a closer relationship between the themes. |
