Summary: | Tourism sector is a people-oriented sector. Communication, which is an important element in this sector, plays an important role for the tourists coming to the country to prefer the visited destination again. This research aims to determine how foreign tourists evaluate the communication skills of the tradesmen active in the historical bazaars of Alipaşa, Arasta and Bedesten in Edirne. For this purpose, survey data collected from 283 foreign tourists has been analyzed in SPSS 22.0 statistics program. As a result of the study, it has been found that the level of evaluation of the communication skills of the foreign tourists was good and also the evaluation of the communication skills of the foreign tourists had an effect on the satisfaction level of the communication skills of the tradesmen.
