Summary:Complexity of heat transfer processes and insufficient a priori information on metal heating processes in the furnaces lead to the necessity to develop mathematical models where the unknowns are some of the parameters. The given parameters depend on design features of a furnace. If there are experimental data on material heating dynamics they can be used for a model identification that makes it possible to construct an adequate mode to a real process.
