Summary:In this paper, the improved tanh-coth method is used for construct exact traveling wave solutions for a new coupled nonlinear system. Variable coefficients and a forcing term are considered. As particular case, new exact solutions for the classical Higgs field equation are obtained. The results show us the generation and evolutions of new traveling waves with several interesting structure, which can be used in physical applications.
