Summary:This study aims to describe the role of parents as educators in children’s speaking skills from the Sedulur Sikep Community. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with research subjects namely 7 students of SDN 01 Klopoduwur who came from Karangpace Village and 4 parents. Data collection techniques use assessment of speaking skills, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there was a role of parents in children’s speaking skills with 4 categories of children classified as highly skilled and 3 children in the skilled category. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran orang tua sebagai pendidik dalam keterampilan berbicara anak dari Komunitas Sedulur Sikep. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 7 siswa SDN 01 Klopoduwur yang berasal dari Dusun Karangpace dan 4 orang tua. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan penilaian keterampilan berbicara, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peran orang tua terhadap keterampilan berbicara anak dengan 4 anak kategori tergolong sangat terampil dan 3 anak dalam kategori terampil.
