Description
Summary:Comparative analysis of the microclimatic parameters, the seasonal dynamics and quantitative comparison of the complexes of terrestrial arthropods (Arthropoda) is done in two caves, located in different karst regions in Western Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria (Yubileyna and Gargina Dupka caves). For this purpose the following parameters have been investigated: temperature and air humidity in both caves and the relation between them and the distribution of the terrestrial arthropods, thereof the quantitative comparison of the different taxonomic and ecological groups of animals in the two caves; seasonal dynamics of the groups of arthropods in the studied caves.
