Summary:This article presents a survey of research published in five journals in the field of physical education between 2009 and 2013, relating to pedagogical conceptions, teacher training and teaching practice to situate the development of morality from the perspective of this discipline. It is evident that between the possibilities articulated in different speeches is the "how" and "why" - used as a synonym for set objectives and deepen the reasons - as important as "know-how" that are directly linked to moral education.
