Summary:Environmental education in educational practice is often crafted in time to meet the school year, on specific dates such as "Day of the Tree" and "Water Day", however, we should be the same as this discipline across the curriculum school of interdisciplinary way, seeking to solve environmental problems. By making some objects from paper, this study aimed to show the importance of preserving the environment and to take environmental actions in schools seeking giving students the meaning of recycling. A practice with 36 students of the 6th year of the Municipal School Maria Iraci Teófilo de Castro in the municipality of Taquarana / Alagoas was applied. Students crafted some objects like pencils, door coins, gift box and jewelry door, all from the paper. Before practice start was given an explanation about the themes discussed during the activities, issues such as pre-established recycling and environmental preservation. The didactic intervention was developed in their classroom, for students would not get dispersed. The results showed the degree of satisfaction, where 70% of students rated the practice as excellent and 30% rated as good. Moreover, 100% of them believe that the developed practice contributed in some way in their lives, making it clear that they took some teaching about the activity.
