La mediación althusseriana: Oscar Masotta entre la fenomenología y el estructuralismo

Between late 1960s and early 1970s, Althusser’s works experienced an outstanding reception process on Argentinian left intellectuals. One of the privileged spaces of the reception process was the psi culture of our country, which was then undergoing a process of transformation of their theories, practices and institutions. We focus on productivity of Althusser readings made by Oscar Masotta. We analyze the articulation of Lacan and Althusser that led to a relocation of Lacan’s work in the psychoanalytic tradition. In this sense, Althusser led to a shift of Lacanian contribution from the phenomenological and existentialist currents to the structuralist Marxism.
