Common mosquitoes are the black salt marsh mosquito, Aedes taeniorhynchus (Wiedemann), the crabhole mosquito, Deinocerites cancer Theobald, the Bahamian Culex, Culex bahamensis Dyar and Knab, and Anopheles atropos Dyar and Knab.
