Description
Summary:This article is a part cut of the reflection developed in the master dissertation Enunciation and intersubjectivity: which reveals the act of summarizing, of my authorship. In the present work, I intend to present a part of the results of the aforementioned research, in which I formulate a conception about the act of summarizing texts in the teaching space, in the light of Émile Benveniste's Theory of Enunciation. Based on this theory, I postulate the idea that, through the act of summarizing, the narrator-speaker introduces (inter) subjectivity in the discourse and promotes his understanding of the base text. The study developed here, besides fomenting reflection for the enunciative field by inserting the act of summarizing among its possible objects of study, contemplating reading and writing as acts of enunciation implied in the production of the informative summary, also highlights the contributions that reflections from the Benveniste's Theory of Enunciation can provide the teaching of reading and textual production in educational spaces, by valuing the space of enunciation that the student must occupy to be constituted in his singularity in the spheres of which he is a part.
