This research project has been supported by the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies (University of Alberta) and it has been implemented together with the Department of Education and Science of the Executive Commitee of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council in 2015. According to the research methodology, 28 Ivano-Frankivsk’s schools have been involved to the research procedure, 774 respondents have participated in this project, which accounts for 68, 7%. The statistical sampling error (with a probability of 0.95) hasn’t exceeded 1, 98%.  When it comes to the youth, especially teens, so it is quite substantial that this particular social and demographic group tend to implicate two significant patterns of everyday behavior (learning and leisure), which are obvious and by far very important socialization process components in terms of their personal and social development.     In line with collected data, Ivano-Frankivsk’s graduates tend to relay on their personal informational sources such as social network (45, 5%), family and relatives (38, 7 5).  Nevertheless, by a narrow margin more than half of respondents said, that when it comes to the reliable information source, they would choose traditional public media (55, 4%).  Official governmental institutions aren’t among those institutions, which are able to provide reliable information in line with Ivano-Frankivsk teens’ opinions. Roughly one out of ten respondents agreed, that official governmental institutions may offer correct data or reliable information.  Ivano-Frankivsk teens’ leisure practices were considered in this study as well.  The study revealed that  It turned out that the most demanded among others are comedy films (74, 7%), and the least interesting for the teenage audience are artistic films like musicals (11.2%) or art house films (9, 1%).
