The error in probe measurements of heat flux dissociated gas streams

The main error in strongly dissociated laminar gas jets (nitrogen, air, CO2) affecting the measured heat flux is the surface catalytic activity of the heat-receiving element with respect to the reactions of the heterogeneous recombination of atoms. Description
Summary:The main error in strongly dissociated laminar gas jets (nitrogen, air, CO2) affecting the measured heat flux is the surface catalytic activity of the heat-receiving element with respect to the reactions of the heterogeneous recombination of atoms. The purpose of this work is to estimate the heat flux measurement errors due to the influence of the surface layer area on the micro-and nanoscale.
