The Role of the Literary Avant-Garde in the Formation of the Concept of Social Realism
The article reveals the relation between aesthetics and politics in the new Soviet State by analyzing the influence of the literary Russian avant-garde in the formation of the main concepts of social realism, as the dominant literary method in the totalitarian State.
