Background Tuberculosis is an important infection that is still endemic in several countries. The medical personnel is considered an important risk group for contact with tuberculosis. The tuberculosis among medical personnel is considered a big public health problem to be managed. Materials and methods The authors summarized the record of 102 medical personnel infected with tuberculosis in Thailand, a tropical country in Indochina. Results Nurse is the largest group of medical personnel infected with tuberculosis. Conclusion Health surveillance for medical personnel regarding tuberculosis is required. The nurse should be the specific group that should receive priority in screening.
