For the purpose of construction of A and B buildings of the Unit-1in the Block 26, Novi Beograd, an extensive analysis of wind load and vertical load of the facade has been conducted. Bearing structure of the facade is designed in the form of a mesh of vertical and horizontal aluminum girders (l=1.2m and l=2.4m), following the architectural demands. In this case, chosen aluminum profiles were SCHUCO, type FW 50*. Buildings A and B, Unit-1, have ground floor, six stories, retracted story and technical story, with total height of 37.96m. Vertical and wind load analysis was conducted according to current SRPS codes that deal with wind load effect on large stiff buildings with special attention to wind loads in area III (a part between buildings A and B).
