The importance of publishing books is also that it contributes to the employment of women and youth. In our paper we explore the book publishing industry. We find out the development of the number of enterprises, the development of the number of employees, basic economic indicators such as cash income, income, costs, profit, profitability. We follow these indicators across the book publishing industry.
