Description
Summary:The aim of the article is that of thinking upon a theoretical project that Hölderlin just started to draw in its fundamental aspects but that he never fully developed. In a letter of the 10th of October 1794 addressed to Neuffer he tells of a project concerning an essay about the esthetical ideas. Relating the keynotes on the project articulated in this letter it is possible to reconstruct the way in which Hölderlin’s thought is connected to the Kantian aesthetic and also to make it clear that and why there is a need for going over Kant’s aesthetical theory.
