Description
Summary:Through the interactive sequences of a summary map, this paper examines mobility management policies in the London metropolitan area. Managing mobility in the age of metropolisation can be difficult because of fundamentally divergent planning goals, inherited spatial dynamics, historical gaps between transport and land use policies, and a lack of coordination within and between planning bodies. The London metropolitan area is no exception, but it also has some specific features and solutions that may be of interest from a comparative perspective.
