Among us, Marcello Caetano was the best informed about their virtualities, willing to use them (especially the newcomer Television) in service of his government and its policies. “Family Talks” afforded him a privileged channel for direct connection with people, to speak in plain language and informally, regarding some matters of country’s governance. Each “Talk” was like a lesson.
