Summary: | Abstract—In this paper some approaches for pothole detection of roads, using morphological algorithms, are recalled and tested. For road anomalies detection, one of the key elements is the pavement pothole information. Any algorithm for pothole detection has certain advantages and limitations as well, due to the real world environment, which is highly unstructured and dynamic. For road segmentation, the road anomalies detection algorithm based on skeletonization is used. |
