Description
Summary:Internal supravesical hernia is a rare condition with unclear presentation features. If an obstructed hernia is suspected, computerised tomography (CT) can aid diagnosis; some cases are diagnosed at exploratory laparotomy. We report the case of a 72-year-old man who presented with an irreducible left inguinal hernia and an associated supravesical hernia. The diagnosis was suspected during CT and exploratory laparotomy was performed. With early diagnosis and management, supravesical hernias can have an excellent prognosis.
