| Summary: | This paper attempts to delve into the poetry of Mary Xosé Queizán, director of the feminist magazine Festa da palabra silenciada, which had a very important role in the reappropriation of the women writers’s voices in the 1980s. We see how body, word and sex mix to create a new female universe. The author says writting means escaping from the silence, what will happen, according Queizán, passing first through the woman turns into body. Merge the body and the word becomes a subversive act. For that to happen, the woman must start from the body to find her own body. We will also see how Queizán and other writers were part of poeróticasmovement of the 1990s, and in which the critique of patriarchy is reinforced by the treatment of lesbianism as a perfect via says Queizán, to escape the phallocentric societal values , giving rise to a literature of transgression; ie, a new worldview, a transformation of the body in a symbolic expression of autonomy and the taking of the word by woman.
