La reacción de la universidad con la comunidad: las acciones de enfermería en Programa Vizinhança

This is part of a research of Evaluation of Psychosocial Care Centers in Southern Brazil. It is a case study conducted at Alegrete/RS, which aims to identify the contributions of the activities of therapeutic supports developed in a Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS) from the perspective of users, their families and professionals. For this, it was conducted semi-structured interviews, of qualitative approach, that used the fourth generation evaluation. Were interviews with 11 users, 14 family members, 26 professionals and field observation of 390 hours. The CAPS is using of various resources such as the therapeutic workshops that integrate crafts workshops, workshops on mental health conference with various issues, home visits, individual and group consultations, physical and sports activities, trips and leisure. Thus, the support therapeutic activities are considered an activity that enables the exercise of citizenship, freedom expression and coexistence of differents and even therapeutic spaces of treatment.
