Summary:Prospects for the internationalization of students of higher education as a factor of regional integration in Paraguay, based on the importance of internationalization in higher education we are convinced that it is paramount to our institution for several reasons. Fundamentally, a university that facilitates and supports national and international collaboration, at the same time the mobility of its staff, students and their teachers. Academic mobility is one of t he main references of the processes and strategies of educational cooperation and, in addition to direct expression of the collaboration between institutions and governmental structures. Internationalization, regionalization and globalization of higher edu cation should be based on solidarity and mutual respect and promote the values of humanism and intercultural dialogue. The internationalization of higher education at the National University of Caaguazú, started in 2012, with the creation of a directorat e in the Rector of the University, its main purpose is to seek strategic agreements for the development of different academic units cooperation agreements are supported by strategic partnerships with various ministries of the Paraguayan Government.
