In this paper, the working principle and application history of hot isostatic pressing technology were introduced. The research and application status of hot isostatic pressing technology in the field of nickel-based casting superalloys was summarized. The research on the effect of hot isostatic pressing on the densification mechanism and microstructure properties of cast superalloys, research on hot isostatic pressing on the microstructure repair of nickel-based cast superalloys in long-term service, and research on the realization of the diffusion bonding of two nickel-based superalloys progress are highlighted and elaborated.
