Description
Summary:With its self-definition, “ İstitba, which means coexistence of interconnecting and nests two praise elements, is a Bedi‘ term leading to discovery of deep meanings for a reader who aims to see background of the text. İstitbâ‘, which is related to arts of Muzâafe, medh-i muvecceh, idmâc, ta‘lîk, tekmîl and te’kîdu’l-medh bimâ yuşbihu’z-zem, is used with some of these concepts synonymously and is seperated from some of them with nuances during the term’s creation period. Particularly, evaluation of the verses within the context of art of idmac postponed the use of the term, istitbâ‘. In this meaning, availability of limited number of examples in Quran about art of istitbâ‘ is because of the fact that semantic nesting is devoted to the art of istitbâ‘; togetherness of praise element is because of the fact that it’s devoted to the art of istitbâ‘.
