Summary:An alert is necessary: Our era is calling for a new vision of science education and essential part of this is the realization that teacher education involves the acquisition of academic knowledge to provide scientific knowledge sizing their technological, environmental, social medium and historical, knowledge of how to teach and preparation for educational research and innovation this paper emphasizes the reasons that necessitate the size of these aspects in the scientific training of science teachers, after briefly discusses some of the causes of the lack of attention to them, then certain ideas that can help improve the teaching of science are highlighted.
