It may exist in the changing of the style of speech from Third person to First Person or into Plural Pronoun. It plays rhetorically a vital role in the eloquence of speech in Arabic language to draw more attention of listeners. It is a very unique style of Qur'anic Rhetoric. There is an academic conflict surrounding the definition of Digression (A1-11teffit) among the scholar of Queunic Studies; AI-Zamakhshari and the general community of scholars. The sequences of this academic disagreement are divided into two aspects: Logical Aspect and Terminological Aspect. In my article, I shed light on this intellectual ambivalence in detail. At the end, I raised the question whether Digression (All-thefiit) is pertaining to the branch of Semantics or Aesthetics.
