Summary: | In 2020, there were many changes in the teaching and learning process, due to the Pandemic, schools / teachers had to reinvent themselves to a new educational reality. In this perspective, this research brings an experience report, describing the presentation and use of the Photomath application, applied to the content of numerical expression to students in the sixth grade of elementary school, from a private school in the city of Londrina, state of Paraná, from May to July, in order to propose that the teaching of Mathematics, in the school context, could be effective, revealing the bonus that a technological resource presents in relation to the support of teaching practice. The research is configured as qualitative, with the methods and procedures anchored in the narratives about the challenges and difficulties faced by students and teachers in the classroom. It was concluded that the use of the application as a didactic resource brought benefits to the students' learning, since it guaranteed the involvement, attention and participation of the group.
