Conditions of enterprise development in rural areas

The article shows the research results describing some motivating factors of enterprise development in rural areas and also the ones that limit them. The research was provided in the area of one commune of the Kujawsko-Pomorskievoivodeship. The information has been gathered from 179 businessmen in 6 countries. There was a questionnaire with closed questions used. The carried out research showed that there are chances of developing new types of activities other than those of typically rural character in the areas in focus. Owing to the conducted analysis of the data some inducement and deterrent factors appeared connected with business running in the country.
