Taiji Algebra and the Logical Semantic Model of Zhouyi
This paper discusses the mathematical logic nature of Zhouyi, and suggests that it actually proposes a new logical algebra, Taiji algebra, in which the Eight Trigrams is a general logical semantic structure model. Specifically, Taiji algebra is a quaternary logical algebra consisting of physical pos...

Specifically, Taiji algebra is a quaternary logical algebra consisting of physical positive (1) and negative (-1), metaphysical null (-0) and none (0). Its eight trigrams reflect the eight logical operation formulas: intersection, complement of intersection, union, complement of union, symmetrical difference, complement of difference, single set, and complement of single set. The sixty-four hexagrams are deductive logical systems that reflect the high-dimensional semantic structure, and constitute the sixty-four fold logical antisense structures. The conclusion of this paper can be applied to linguistic research, especially to the semantic research.http://www.macrolinguistics.com/index.php?c=msg&id=678&Zhouyithe Eight TrigramsTaiji algebralogical formulalogical semanticsgeneral model |
