Description
Summary:The linguistic element as a sociocultural mark in the border media — Based on the speech of local people, this article makes an analysis of how some sociocultural practices end up creating a culture influenced by border elements, in a space delimited by the semi-conurban cities of Uruguaiana (Brazil) and Paso de Los Libres (Argentina). These practices can be found in the local media, causing them to participate in the formation of a border culture. The constant traffic of people and symbolic and material goods contribute to the sedimentation of a de facto Latin American integrationist process.
